Blog #5:Intergrating Relevant Acadimc Sources

  •  The two books that I' am making my claims on are two books based on simularities as the text that I have read ( A Long Way Gone). The books that I have choosen for my research paper are Moller, David. Dancing with Broken Bones. Oxford: University Press, 2004, and Ojiaku, Chief Unche. Surviving the Iron Curtain: A Microscopic View of What Life Was Like Inside a War-Torn Region.  03-2007.  I wanted to compare the imagination, struggles, humor and journey of survival for my research paper. Both books have simularities about African culture; starvation and war. Surviving the Iron Curtain is a book about families and loyalty; like A Long Way Gone, Surviving the Iron Curtain has fatal horror and memories of the past.                                                                                                     The questions that I will be exploring in my research paper based on my claims are; how did Africa survive the journey of war. How did imaination come in play with the journey and what was the outcome of the war.                                                                                                     For my article I' am using articles about Africa Diaspora in Brizil. The article that I will be using includes African culture, struggles, journey of exscape and also the slave trades that took place during that time. Orginized from the Atlantic trade. Mostly for hard labor. The information in the article will help me explain Diaspora for my research paper.
